As always the seminar is a free event for all current Timestone Software users. This year's event will once again be held over three days. Broadly speaking the first day will be ideally suited to newer users or those wishing to revisit the basics, while the following two days will be appropriate for intermediate and advanced users. However feedback from last year indicated all three days were useful to all people. So please consider coming for all three days, it will be worthwhile.
A detailed course outline will be available closer to the date but for now here is a brief overview of some of the issues we will covering.
Green Screen - the world is turning green and we'll look at our new chroma key tools and the many ways to incorporate this into an automatic workflow.
All matters tethered shooting - an in depth look at CapturePost and OutPost in various workflow situations.
What's new in Version 3 - the upgrades are packed with new features, many of which will make a big impact on the way you use the software. Some of the new features are very self explanatory, otherwise will be the topic for in depth discussion.
SQL - possibly the most important change we've ever made. The underlying database structure of the tnj files is changing to an open SQL database. This will have enormous benefits for many users.
Plus more - We'll be adding more key topics over the next few weeks. As always you are encouraged to submit specific questions and topics for discussion beforehand.

Tuesday June 19th, Wednesday June 20th and Thursday June 21st, 2007.
The first day will be ideally suited to new users or anyone who feels they need a better grasp of the fundamentals. The course will then lead into the second and third days which will be of use to everyone. We feel people should attend at least two of the three days. For maximum benefit consider attending all three days.
A social dinner has been organized for the Wednesday night and is an ideal opportunity to chat and spend time with fellow Timestone users

How much will it cost
There
is no charge for the seminar.
Timestone Software will also provide continental breakfast, lunch and morning and afternoon coffee breaks on all three days.
You will need to pay for your room at $129/night plus taxes, your dinner on Tuesday and Thursday night and of course your travel to get there.
The Timestone Dinner on Wednesday night will be hosted by us - there is no charge for you.
How many people can come
Attendance is limited to two people per company. If places are still available closer to the event we will make them available to anybody wishing to send additional people.
How to book
This year we are using an event planner, Sojourn Services to co-ordinate the event. PLEASE BOOK THROUGH THEM NOT THE HOTEL Be sure to ask for the special Timestone Rate. We negotiated this reduced rate and committed to sufficient rooms to accomodate our event.
If possible please make your booking before Monday 20th May. Our block of rooms are reserved for us until that date. If you decide to come after that date we should still be able to accommodate you but the hotel cannot guarantee your room
There are two steps involved
1. Call Sojourn Services on 1-800-258-2444. From the menu, select Event Services and Sales (Extension 2). Ask for the Timestone Software event and book your room.
2. Email either dino@timestone.com.au or george@timestonesoftware.com and let us know the following:
a: Your company name
b: The names of the people attending
c: Which days you will be attending
d: If you have any specific questions or topics of discussion you would like covered

This will be a great night! You will have ample opportunity to mingle with other Timestone users and get to know each other. There is no charge for the dinner and we will assume everybody coming to the seminar will also come to the dinner. If you won't be joining us for dinner please let us know.
Special note to labs
Due to space limitations we need to restrict attendance to our direct customers - ie you, the labs. If you wish to send photographers to the seminar they will need to attend in lieu of any lab personnel.
