Noritsu Hot Folder Driver Now Available
Timestone Software is pleased to announce the release of the Noritsu Hot Folder driver.
This allows the user to print to the Noritsu line of digital printers via a hot folder. You will also need Noritsu's Hot Folder software.
According to Noritsu, the hot folder driver supports the following printers:
QSS-28/29/30/31 series (except DLS models)
R2R-1100PRO
dDP-411,421/621
This now gives our customers three methods of printing to the Noritsu line of digital printers:
1. QSS/NetOrder - where we print directly to the Noritsu printers
2. Noritsu Hot Folder - as described above.
3. NTO - for the older MP-1600 and QSS 2700 series
Preliminary tests show printing with the Noritsu Hot Folder to be faster than the direct QSS/NetOrder method. This is because the software does not need to be in direct and constant communication with the printer as is the case with the QSS/NetOrder driver.
The Noritsu Hot Folder driver is available free of charge to all Timestone Software users and is automatically installed with the software
